You would have to contact the college of nurses in the province in which you want to work. They will evaluate your education and experience and decide if you are eligible to write the CRNE. If you pass it you will get a nursing license. You would also have to get a work visa.In order to become licensed as an RN in Canada you need to have a BSN)4 year nursing degree). In order to be a lecturer you would need a Masters degree.
2 :
First you should find something that you´re interested in. Once you find the job or the company you can contact them and ask them what their specific procedure would be. I put ´nurse´ into Trovit and it came up with quite a few results http://jobs.trovit.ca/index.php/cod.search_jobs/what_d.nurse/

Firstly if you are already in SA you need to work through our Department of Home Affairs, if not your contact will be the SA embassy in India. You can only apply for a work permit and permanent residence in SA if you in fact have an employment contract with a company in SA, permanent residence offers you all the rights of a SA citizen bar the right to vote and being able to apply for a SA passport, after 5 years in SA you can apply for citizenship. Here is a link that gives you all the details and requirements for temporary resident permit, permanent residence and citizenship as well as matters pertaining to your family. Browse the services section of this link. http://www.home-affairs.gov.za/
2 :
Get all the paperwork done at the embassy. We need tons of nurses in SA, so go! Where are you going to live? There are lots of Indians living in Durban and in parts of Cape Town, so you will really feel at home. What skills does your spouse have? Here is a general website for job hunting: http://capetown.gumtree.co.za/ some more: http://www.bestjobs.co.za/ Good luck!

of course -contact the country's Board of Nursing for more info.
2 :
No you wouldn't have to take the whole program over again. RNs are RNs. You will likely only have to take the licensing board exam to eb able to practice in the province that you choose to work in. http://allnurses.com/international-nursing/us-rn-new-340031.html This is a good post to read. It is someone who trained in the USA but wants to work in Canada, I think that some it will apply to you too.

I would contact/email the American Nurses Credentialing Center to see what you would need to be certified to work in the United States and if you qualify. Then you would have to go to the USCIS site to also see if you qualify for admission to the United States. All the information you need about immigration will be available to you on the USCIS site. Good luck in your endeavors.

Have you tried applying as a graduate nurse? That way you can work until you take the NCLEX again.
2 :
Once you take the NCLEX and fail, you are NOT eligible to work as a Graduate nurse. Id get in contact with a nurse recruiter of a local hospital and speak with them. Maybe if you agree to work with the hospital after you do pass the NCLEX, they will hire you know in an Aide or clerk position until then. Good Luck

You have to complete some steps before placing there The salaries are good about in a good hospital it is about 20- 22 $ per hour For placing you need this 1. CGFNS:- Commission on Gradutes on Foreign Nursing Schools 2. TOEFL:- Test of English as a Foreign Language 3. TSE:- Test of Spoken English When you clear all these three lavels you will contact any requirment agency to place you in USA. They will help you to placed there. After getting there you have to pass NCLEX exam there then you will start job over there. Good Luck

You would not get a job abroad without IELTS. Any job abroad would also require that you have a nursing license for that country so that would be the first thing you would have to do.
2 :
A Registered Nurse from India is in high demand within the USA. A RN in the USA earns between $ 75K to $100K per year. TOEFL / IELTS is a must including the NCLEX-RN course. I would advise you to be proactive in your search for lucrative US Nursing Jobs. Simply applying on or searching for jobs on a few websites won't give you the results that you're aiming for. I recommend following the step-by-step guide at: http://www.usa-jobs-forever.com/us-nursing-jobs.html that lists well-researched methods with complete information & data, which if followed correctly, will guarantee you a number of high quality interviews. Hope This Helps! All The Best! Regards, Shabbir K.

How do I go about relocating and finding a job in INDIA

How do I go about relocating and finding a job in INDIA?
I would like to relocate to india, and go to college there for nursing. what is the cost of living, housing, and school there?
Other - India - 3 Answers

1 :
depends on which part of india - nursing is a lot more prevalent in kerala. whilst ur studying u should get into a dorm or so - education costs would nto be high, but u should check with the school AM
2 :
Girl,India is large and you should be more specific about the city you wanna move in.Delhi,Mumbai,Bangalore are some good city to live in India. The cost of living in these cities are around USD 400-450 for an decent lifestyle. (you can hire an apartment for $150). I have no idea about the quality of education in any of the nursing colleges .But,I am sure, they wouldn't be up to the western standards. This is what I got in google. http://www.scholarshipsinindia.com/nursing.html
3 :
Better come around for a visit first, take a close look and make up your mind if that is really what you want or need. Standards in hospitals in India are nowhere compared to western standards. The average facilities in 98% of all hospitals here are - well, third world. Customs and procedures in nursing partly are quite different from western practices. For example, when someone checks into a hospital, his family will guard and watch over him, not nurses. The job profile of nurses here is a little different. Also the learning culture is entirely different, one is supposed to listen - asking questions is seen as questioning the competence of the guru. Teaching is not very practical too, you would need to memorize all kinds of details but you will not develop an understanding for the context. There may be a few exceptions, but that is, by and large, the rule. Many colleges here also teach in their local language, not in english. I recommend you only look at the best hospitals - beware of going below that standard. One of the very best which also educates nurses is KIMS in Trivandrum, Kerala - see http://www.kimskerala.com/academics.html - This is a decent hospital, I have been there a number of times. It is actually the only really clean and hygienic hospital I have seen in India. However, education there will not be cheap and whether you qualify for admission is yet another question. If you can not get into such a place - then forget about it, you would just waste your time. Cost of living depends on your requirements, you can somehow sustain yourself starting around 400 USD a month but better budget 600-700 USD to be safe. Double that for Mumbai and Delhi unless you want to live in a really bad place. Good luck!

I am a Pharmacy Graduate from India. Which nursing course should i go for to get registered as nurse and then afterwards what is the procedure to file for my Green card and how long this whole process can take? I know i have a lot of questions. A detailed explanation is appreciated. Finally does it all making any sense?? Thank you

1 :
You would be best to get a 4 year BSN degree. If you want to work as a nurse in the US you will have to get permission to write the NCLEX and pass it in order to get a nursing license.Getting a green card is much more difficult.Due to retrogression you are looking at 7-8 years wait after you file. Also the economy in the US is in poor shape so even nurses that are citizens are having trouble finding work.
2 :
I do believe you are a bit confused about studying in the United States. You cannot just enter, study, and then expect the US government to hand you a green card especially when the unemployment rate for US citizens is in excess of 10%. Instead the process is an incremental process that will change each year so I will not go into too much detail because of the risk that it will change. For starters you will need to contact the universities that you are interested in attending and inquire about foreign student admissions. Most likely you will have to take TOEFL and if you mean by Pharmacy graduate that you have a BPharm degree then it is possible that you will not have to take the ACT or SAT. If you to have a bachelors in pharmacy, BPharm then doing an associates may not be an option and you may have to do the BSN (bachelors of science in nursing). As you begin to apply to each nursing you that you are interested in attending you will have to begin to search for funding sources as you will not be eligible for US government financial aid. If you are accepted unconditionally then you can apply for a student visa. Student visas can take a while to get and I have heard that they can, in some cases, take up to a year to get. Provided you can get the funding, you can get the visa, and graduate then the next challenge for you will be applying for a work permit. Rules, jobs eligible, education needed, and who can qualify changes quite frequently plus this is a few years into the future. The best advice I can give is to contact the nearest US Consulate to ask about the process for applying to a US university and then how you can become eligible to work in the US after completing your degree.

Check with MSF (Medcins Sans Frontiers), Red Cross and similiar places. If you're newly certified, you would be better off to gain some experience in the US or Canada first as standards are different overseas.
2 :
On front of education, you may not need anything more if you are certified nurse in US. but the challenge will be adopting demographic things in India, its not about difficulty that US nurse only may have. Its about any foreign national immigrating to other nation. An Indian may face similar problem when migrating to US and any US citizen may face some other problem when coming to India.

In the U.S. nurses must meet certain licensing requirements. If there is an area of the U.S. in which you wish to work you may want to contact the licensing agency in that particular state to check requirements. Another thing you could check are curriculum's of a few nursing colleges. There are two types of nursing degrees, LPN and RN. The LPN requires an Associates Degree or ASN and can be obtained in 2 years at some community colleges. The RN requires a BSN or Bachelors Degree in Nursing and takes 4 years to complete. When you check curriculum's you may want to email those schools and perhaps send the curriculum in India and compare the two programs. I don't recall having met any nurses from India but there are many doctors from your country working here. I am sure some of them came to the U.S. with their MD's.

There are many regulations applied by each state. There are independant organizations that will assist you in related work areas while mentoring you through the process of licenusre. There is an outstanding Nurse who works for an organization in San Diego California for a company named Kennon S. Shea and Associates who is well recognized for work with foreign Nurse placements through the Director of Nursing Education Sandra Larado. I hope this helps and good luck to you.

How to become a registered nurse in India,UAE and USA

How to become a registered nurse in India,UAE and USA?
I wanna know to become a registered nurse in India,UAE and USA

First you would need to go to nursing school. Then you would have to meet the requirements and pass the exam for each country.
2 :
There is a difference between India and USA nurse registration but to get admission you must need to read out their requirement of your qualification and other things. http://www.onlineedublog.com/career-nurse-practitioner/
3 :
I don't know about India or UAE, but for the USA the shortest amount of time it takes to become an RN is 2 years of tech college, and then you have to pass a national standardized test called the NCLEX. Most nurses in the US go to college for 4 years though, because having a bachelor's degree in the US makes it easier to get a job, and you can work wherever you want. Sometimes the US will take degrees from other places. For example, if you go to college in India to be a nurse, then you come to the US, if you take the NCLEX and pass in the US you can become a nurse here too (in most cases)..

Will I take the risk of going to India with just a tourist visa for applying as a nurse in some hospitals ther

Will I take the risk of going to India with just a tourist visa for applying as a nurse in some hospitals ther?
I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines with 6 months nursing experience. I want to work as a nurse in hospitals in India. India will be my stepping stone to go to Canada. Will the hospitals accept me for an interview there in some hospitals?I have send my resume in some hospitals in India and they asked for an interview but I can't do that because I am here in the Philippines.

i don't think it's risk. best of luck for your job.
2 :
No, don't risk it. If you must leave your struggling country in need of nurses, then at least do it right.
3 :
Do you have a license to work as a nurse there? You likely would need a license and work visa fist.
4 :
First for those that don't know In the Philippines the nurses have to work for free for their first year before they can work for pay in their country. They have a lot of nurses there even their doctors will go to nursing school to come to the U.S. as a nurse. So For the person wanting a Interview ask to do a internet Interview if India wants to claim to be a high tech work force ask them to set up a Web cam video interview.
5 :
do not risk it get the correct VISA. plus you would not be aloud ed to work without the correct VISA.

You have to contact the Board of Nursing in the state you are living in and apply for a nursng license. They will assess your nursing education and experience and decide if you are eligible to write the NCLEX.If you pass you will be able to work as a nurse.

Is this your own personal opinion? Nurses are respected all over the world. Many people would die needlessly if there were no nurses. I really think your question must be some sort of joke.
2 :
Its the pay! theres ample of respect but most nurses get paid as little as Rs. 5000-15000 in a place like mumbai where rent goes up to 10,000-30,000 Professions like nurses, doctors, engineers dont get paid at all!.... the only way to make a good living in India is to start a business or become a govt servant like IPS, IAS, or a politician and get as corrupt as u can. Educated and qualified people have no value! there are tonnes of them and competition is so much that the players get away by paying them peanuts!

Hi, I am a nurse from India with 4 yr Bachelor in nursing along with NCLEX-RN registration with Vermont state.?
I worked for two years as a critical care nurse in on of the JCI accredited Indian Hospital. and have 63% aggregate in my BSN. What are my further requirements to join a CRNA program in USA. Please specify any part time programs avilable there.

Well the CRNA program is a Masters degree. But in America, our educational system is not regulated such as universities are in the rest of the world. This means that the requirements will be different at every school. But you actually already meet the general criteria: a Bachelors in Nursing and 1+ years of work. But there is another criteria, you must be a licensed registered nurse, which I assume that you are, but you need to make sure that the school will recognize it. You cannot come to the Unites States part-time, or anywhere actually, to go to another country you have to be in school full-time, that is a basic immigration law. Here is the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Web site: www.aana.com This will include everything that you need to know, and includes a list of accredited programs in the United States.

Check with each individual college. They are probably each going to have their own rules. Usually programs within one country don't have a lot of trouble maneuvering between organizations in the same country. The problem comes when you cross borders and try to use certification from where you came from and the new country has no idea for certain what kind of requirements and training was received.

Licensing of nurses is a provincial issue in Canada. You would need to contact the college of nurses(licensing body) in the province that you wish to live in.They will assess your qualifications/education and tell you what you need to do to become licensed in Canada. You may be required to take more courses and you will have write the CRNE exam at some point. You will have to contact Immigration Canada to obtain a work visa as well.

How do I getUS visas for my 2 adopted girls who have highest marks in nursing colleges in Chennai India, KKDt

How do I getUS visas for my 2 adopted girls who have highest marks in nursing colleges in Chennai India, KKDt?
What kind of visa should I seek? They are orphans who adopted me in affectionate love making me their father. After they graduate they want tocome to the US to work as nurses. What benefits are available due to the nursing shortage? Can she get a green card enabling her to work or what? Anybody know? Do you know of any grants or scholarships available? One needs $930 next week for tuition and I dont have it. the other needs the same in August and I don't have that either . Past donors have no money . I have 27 orphan daughters who adopted me and I've been giving all expense paid degrees to most while i am unemployed since 1970 depending on Jesus and divine providence for my needs then give around half of that to give happiness and security to otherwise helpless orphan girls mostly, in south India. 5 just earned master's degrees and got jobs in a week or two. Know of any help or scholarships available for orphans there? I buy houses for orphan mothers there; 180 so far; like to help?

To study abroad, you must be accepted at an institution in the country you want to go to. You must prove you have sufficient funds to pay for all of your educational expenses, all of your living expenses, and your transportation home upon completion or termination of your course of study. All international student visas forbid the student to work. And it is up to the student and his/her parents to ensure they have adequate funds for travel, school & living expenses. Foreign students are not eligible for student loans (unless your parents can get a loan in your home country), financial aid, government grants, etc. from the country where they want to go to school. No one but you and your parents will provide financial support! If you cannot afford to go overseas, go to school in your own country where it will cost a fraction of foreign study. Note in particular for nursing programs: you have to do your student nursing rotations in hospitals. You have to pay tuition and you get credit for it. You do not get paid while you are a student nurse. The same things goes for various internships required in some programs of study: pay tuition, get credit. These are not "paying jobs".

The majority of nurses at US foreign missions are locally hired staff with the appropriate living, working, and professional permits to allow them to do so. Check the US Embassy New Delhi website for job openings (there is not currently an opening for an RN): http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/job_opportunities.html
