None of the colleges/Universities offering Post B.Sc or M.Sc Nursing in Distance Mode. As per new UGC rules no professional courses are recognised under distance/correspondence mode. Ur sister can enroll into online courses by UK universities for career growth. Good Luck

first off you need to learn to write in better english so take a night class at your local community college. With out it you may not get a job even if you are quailfied, as a CNA you will be required to chart on the people you take care of. Then contact the nursing homes in your area to see if they are hiring or get the news paper and look in the clasified ads under employment. Start appling for the openings you are interseted in and wait for an interview. DO YOU HAVE A WORK PERMIT? OR A VISA? OR A GREEN CARD?

suggestions to improve milk supply for a nursing mom in india

suggestions to improve milk supply for a nursing mom in india?
My son is 3 months old . I like to breast feed my son. But my milk is insufficient. So i started giving him formula along with mine from the 1st month itself. can i improve my milk production now. I prefer natural means rather than medicines.

Stop using formula and keep breastfeeding your son. The more you feed him, the more milk you will produce.

if u r non vegetarian have some fish daily that will help in increasing milk . if u r vegetarian u can have mewa laddo that means nuts fried in ghee ,mixed with jaggergy and made as laddos. secondly feed for more time that will also increase breast milk. the more u feed the more u get.

Garlic, sesame seeds, alfalfa, nettle, blessed thistle, goat̢۪s rue, red raspberry leaf, fenugreek, oats, nuts, ginger, brewer̢۪s yeast, green papaya, carrots, umbel seeds like fennel, anise, and dill are foods and herbs that can help build milk supply. I used sesame seeds, fenugreek, fennel, blessed thistle, and oats, myself. The sesame seeds had an over night effect (eat them by the handful). The herbs took about three days to have an effect. I also used an SNS. This is a special feeder with a tube so you can feed your baby formula and nurse at the same time. The SNS had the greatest effect on my supply though it took the longest. I noticed a difference after about a week, but then it just kept improving my supply until I didn't need to supplement anymore. I think you would have to order one from the U.S., but it's worth it. I got the cheap temporary one that you are supposed to throw away after 24 hours and used it for about 2 months. I recommend signing up for the MOBI breastfeeding group that's specifically for moms having trouble. Many of them have struggled with low supply and they can answer just about any question you have. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/mobi/

Keep breastfeeding as often as possible. If you are pumping, pump every 2 to 3 hours. Breastea helped my milk supply a lot. You can get it online at http://www.breastea.com
