How do I getUS visas for my 2 adopted girls who have highest marks in nursing colleges in Chennai India, KKDt?
What kind of visa should I seek?They are orphans who adopted me in affectionate love making me their father.After they graduate they want tocome to the US to work as nurses. What benefits are available due to the nursing shortage? Can she get a green card enabling her to work or what? Anybody know? Do you know of any grants or scholarships available? One needs $930 next week for tuition and I dont have it. the other needs the same in August and I don't have that either . Past donors have no money . I have 27 orphan daughters who adopted me and I've been giving all expense paid degrees to most while i am unemployed since 1970 depending on Jesus and divine providence for my needs then give around half of that to give happiness and security to otherwise helpless orphan girls mostly, in south India. 5 just earned master's degrees and got jobs in a week or two. Know of any help or scholarships available for orphans there? I buy houses for orphan mothers there; 180 so far; like to help?

I want a Nursing Diploma from India approved from any of the Nursing councils of India?
I am an Ex Indian Air Force Medical Assistant. My Medical Assistant Certificate is recogonised as Diploma for Employment in India by Government of India. Now I want to get a Diploma from any of The Institutions in India preferably as a Private Student,

Check with each individual college. They are probably each going to have their own rules. Usually programs within one country don't have a lot of trouble maneuvering between organizations in the same country. The problem comes when you cross borders and try to use certification from where you came from and the new country has no idea for certain what kind of requirements and training was received.

True?? In India, people accepted into med school from high school, and Dr.s after 4-6 years college
True?? In India, people accepted into med school from high school, and Dr.s after 4-6 years college?
I'm a nurse, and a friend of mine, who's also a nurse just heard this. That the reason so many doctors in the US from India is because they are accepted into medical school right out of high school (no 4 years of college and a BS first) and become doctors after only 4-6 years (total) of college. Is this true???

A lot of countries have different educational systems than ours. In some European countries, after secondary school you pick from a bachelor's, masters, or PhD program and that is what you get for life. I have coworkers who were doctors in China. They only had 4 years of medical school, focused on what kind of medicine they would practice. They did not take all the prerequisites that pre-med students take in America, and as such their Chinese medical degrees are not good enough to be a doctor here. I would assume that the medical schools in India are pretty good, since they are based on British education. But also, many Indians born here grow up to become doctors.

Hi, there. I have done Diploma in GNM( General Nursing Midwife) from Gujarat, India. and I have 4years, experience related to my field. My Question is: I can put my file as a PR(Permanent Resident), for Australia, and can do work? or which country is best for Midwife Nursing work? please help me..

You must have a nursing degree (a diploma isn't sufficient) in order to qualify for immigration to Australia. In Australia you need a 4 year Bachelors degree in Nursing plus a 2 year Masters in Midwifery to be a midwife. A Diploma in GNM is not sufficient to be considered equivalent.
