i am nurse from India and i want to know what opportunities can i get in us?
age: 34 Education in India: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery Education in US : Certified nursing ass. and patient care technician I want to know what opportunities can i get in us? and i also want to give exam for RNs , CGFNS. How can i apply for those exam easy way. I hope You can help me.. Thank you

I would contact/email the American Nurses Credentialing Center to see what you would need to be certified to work in the United States and if you qualify. Then you would have to go to the USCIS site to also see if you qualify for admission to the United States. All the information you need about immigration will be available to you on the USCIS site. Good luck in your endeavors.

i am nursing graduate (RN programme) from india. I took Nclex but did not make it need a job ASAP?
i am nursing student.i gave nclex this jan but did not make it i need a job as soon as possible to pay my bills.i tried for nursing assistant and ward clerks but did not get any response.i want to work in hospital.i have little experience of care home. is there any kind of hospital job for which i can qualify .is it good idea to apply online coz i always apply online for a job.i i am in sacramento area ......plz help me

Have you tried applying as a graduate nurse? That way you can work until you take the NCLEX again.
2 :
Once you take the NCLEX and fail, you are NOT eligible to work as a Graduate nurse. Id get in contact with a nurse recruiter of a local hospital and speak with them. Maybe if you agree to work with the hospital after you do pass the NCLEX, they will hire you know in an Aide or clerk position until then. Good Luck

about salaries of nurses in usa,how to get placed there from india,types of work that needs to be done .?
basic salaries what nurses get there,working conditions there,is there any way to go there without joining any agency from india?

You have to complete some steps before placing there The salaries are good about in a good hospital it is about 20- 22 $ per hour For placing you need this 1. CGFNS:- Commission on Gradutes on Foreign Nursing Schools 2. TOEFL:- Test of English as a Foreign Language 3. TSE:- Test of Spoken English When you clear all these three lavels you will contact any requirment agency to place you in USA. They will help you to placed there. After getting there you have to pass NCLEX exam there then you will start job over there. Good Luck
