Firstly if you are already in SA you need to work through our Department of Home Affairs, if not your contact will be the SA embassy in India. You can only apply for a work permit and permanent residence in SA if you in fact have an employment contract with a company in SA, permanent residence offers you all the rights of a SA citizen bar the right to vote and being able to apply for a SA passport, after 5 years in SA you can apply for citizenship.
